About Andy Lock

Photographer Andy Lock was born in Dorset in the south of the UK, growing up inspired by the Jurassic coastline, he later moved to the West Coast of Scotland where he spent 11years amongst some of Scotland's most dramatic mountain scenery and coastline. Now living in Perthshire, Andy's photography has transformed with his surroundings and inspiration now comes in the form of pine forests, snow-topped mountains and hidden glens.

Andy started his career in the print and graphic design industry where he studied at Southampton College of Art. He went on to develop skills in website design and currently provides website and graphic design services through his successful business Andy Lock Design located in Pitlochry, Perthshire.

'Design and photography have always gone hand in hand for me, from the basics of composition to the relationship of light, colour and tone captured in an image or piece of work. I continue to enjoy both aspects of my career and continue to learn and grow in both.'

Andy has had work exhibited in local galleries and featured in several journals. A limited number of prints are available to purchase through his website.
